A car’s engine life, handling and fuel economy depend directly on how faithfully its maintenance follows the manufacturer’s workshop manuals (ELSA/ERWIN). The mechanical repair and periodic maintenance procedures at Vosgen reject the “estimate it by eye” approach of the average garage altogether. With more than 15 years of experience, we keep every mechanical system of Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat and Cupra vehicles within factory tolerances, at our workshops in Izmir and Prague.

101-Point Inspection and Fluid Management to Manufacturer Standards

Periodic maintenance is never just an oil and filter change. Every car that goes up on a lift in the Vosgen workshop is tested on the critical components that directly affect its safety:

• Approved oil specifications: We use synthetic oils that meet the manufacturer specification required for each engine (VW 504.00/507.00, 508.00/509.00 or Porsche A40/C30). The life of the diesel particulate filter (DPF) and the catalytic converter is never put at risk.
• OEM filter set: The oil filter, fuel filter, engine air filter and activated-carbon cabin pollen filter are replaced with manufacturer-approved OEM parts.
• Brake fluid, disc and pad measurement: Pad and disc wear is measured with calipers, and the moisture content of the brake fluid is analysed with a digital tester to confirm its boiling point is within tolerance.

Advanced Mechanical Overhaul and Transmission Engineering

Our areas of expertise for VW Group vehicles that are showing wear or have reached major service intervals:

1. Timing Belt and Camshaft Drive Systems

Timing belt and chain replacements on TSI, TFSI and TDI engines are carried out with model-specific locking tools and torque wrenches. Applying the factory tightening torques (Nm) eliminates the risk of early stretching, tooth skipping and bent valves.

2. DSG and S tronic Dual-Clutch Transmissions

On DQ200, DQ250, DQ381 and DQ500 transmissions, we carry out clutch clearance adjustment (k-shimming), mechatronic unit pressure tests and renewal with the original transmission fluid, using calibrated software.

3. Suspension and Front-End Health

Control arm bushes, drop links, strut top mounts and CV boots are inspected according to the manufacturer’s chassis guidelines, restoring ride comfort and cornering geometry to factory settings.
